Please join Attorney Joshua Radbod and Cogent Law Group as they host a panel of five entrepreneurs to discuss how they built their company's from the ground up, their struggles, and their successes. The panelists include Peter Joukov from Avantpay, Wa’il Ashshowwaf from Stuck in the Sand, Hannah Cooper from Cooper/Smith, Andrew Elliot from CoinSavage, and Jeremy Jordan-Jones from the Amalgam Group. There will be an hour for networking accompanied by catered food and drinks. After the panel feel free to network and enjoy the rooftop!

Speakers

Peter Joukov is the Co-Founder of Avanptay, Co-Founder of Pegasus Growth, and Advisor at FishMySpot. Peter has experience across a variety of environments that include startups, military units, and Fortune 500 companies. He has advised and helped multiple small businesses grow, started a private equity fund, invested in real estate, led strategic planning and implementation at the Department of Defense level (3,000,000+ personnel), and led military personnel on 5 continents. Pete loves to jump in and help guide organizations through uncertain times by setting a clear path forward for their business goals, mission, and team.

Hannah J. Cooper is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Cooper/Smith, a technical assistance firm that uses hard data to increase effectiveness & efficiency of development programs worldwide. Hannah and her team manage large-scale data systems and use projects in Malawi (funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Digital Impact Alliance), work in Zambia with the Center for Infectious Disease Research, support Catholic Relief Services in Malawi and Madagascar, advise the Government of Canada’s Minister of International Development, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, the Global Fund, and the World Bank, as well as participate in numerous global and local technical and advisory groups.

Andrew Elliott is the CEO of CoinSavage, a UVA graduate, Georgetown MBA, USMC veteran, and former financial advisor. He has a deep knowledge of financial markets and services. Andrew's company, CoinSavage, provides users subscription services to auto invest their spare change into pre-set cryptocurrency allocations. This is essentially a dollar cost averaging service. CoinSavage marries this user experience with free content and subscription products (i.e. analyst "Trade Alerts") from the CoinSavage analyst and content network. The combination of auto investment and vetted analyst content and strategies makes them an integrated crypto investing platform.

Wa’il Ashshowwaf is the CEO of Stuck In The Sand (SITS) an accelerator, design agency and technical services company, helping startups launch. He also serves as a Board Member for The Global Advisory Group, a consulting firm that facilitates cross-border business between companies in North America and the Middle East. Prior to SITS, Wa’il served as Vice President of International Commercial Banking at HSBC USA, where he helped U.S.-based companies assess, formulate and implement financial strategies to support operations, sales growth, compliance and expansion into international markets. Before that, he was Regional Manager, Government and Institutional Banking at HSBC USA, with a primary focus on Embassies. During his tenure he built relationships with government and business leaders worldwide.
