Comm(s) Fest is an annual event, organized by The Communications Board, with the mission of transforming how people see marketing communications. By bringing together fresh perspectives and innovators from both practice and academia, this gathering bridges the divide between the science of communication studies and the media practice of marketing communications.

Comm(s) Fest is a week of events celebrating both communication programs at local universities and marketing communications professionals working at PR firms, startups, nonprofits and associations, private companies, and government agencies working in and around Washington, DC. Comm(s) Fest hosts daily thought leadership conversations, live product demonstrations, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and networking events.

Comm(s) Fest is different from the typical conference characterized by canned presentations and expensive registration fees. By allowing a variety of organizations and brands the ability to host their own events from their industry point of view, we create a more diverse program with perspectives that are better representative of the industry.
