Boban Markovic is now Vice President - Investment Banking Services at Atoll Financial Group. After three successful years at the Institute of International Finance, he has transitioned to Atoll, a Washington DC-based financial services company specializing in capital raising, advisory services, corporate restructuring, energy deals, and power project development among other services. We are pleased to include Boban Markovic on the WNG leadership team.
Hampton Dowling, Managing Partner of The HCB Group LLC, has authored an article titled "Digital Disruption... Are we looking at it through the right set of lenses?" in the latest edition of The Voice of Technology published by the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC). Hampton's comments focus on today’s challenges regarding authenticity of data, its chain of custody, and how this all relates to regulatory changes, both domestic and international.

Kay Chewning has joined Edge, a full-service commercial real estate firm with offices in Washington D.C., Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania as Director of Advisory Services. Chewning, who brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience to this new position, was formerly Managing Director at McBride Real Estate Services, Inc.
Jeff Porter has been promoted to Acting Director of the Office of Process Improvement at USPTO United States Patent and Trademark Office, part of the U.S. Department of Commerce. A long-time WNG Member, Jeff is an Australian born American, with extensive networks in Australia, New Zealand, and the Washington, DC area. Additionally, he is Principal of the Trailing Spouse Network, which was formed as an online community to assist Expatriate Family Members; Typically, spouses of career professionals in foreign countries.
George Deeley is now Principal of Deeley Dynamics, LLC -- International Business Consulting. Previously, he was Vice President, Global Operations & Business Development at Swiss Mountain Cosmetics—NIANCE® where he developed their international expansion strategy beyond the original DACH markets. Andrew Hyde, who recently retired after a 28 year career at the Department of State, has become a Senior Advisor to the FutureGrasp Foundry, which helps clients comprehend and capitalize upon our rapidly changing world. The Foundry’s virtual organization is comprised of technology and diplomacy experts who inform and guide C suite leadership and senior policymakers in their digital decision making. Additionally, Andrew is now a Non-Resident Fellow at The Stimson Center in Washington, D.C.

Hank Dearden, Executive Director of ForestPlanet, Inc., has released their 2019 annual report, which includes news of great progress. Key 2019 accomplishments compared to 2018 include a 25% increase in revenues and a 100% increase in trees planted: 80,000+ trees planted, double the number from 2018. Congratulations! Her team of virtual assistants will be rolling out this new service to supplement their wide range of administrative support packages in February 2020.
