Allison Shapira, CEO and Founder of Global Public Speaking, and author of the new book, "Speak with Impact: How to Command the Room and Influence Others," spoke at a recent WNG Chairman's Forum on Thursday, March 14. At the event, Allison discussed the book's topic and shared actionable tools that participants can use to speak with confidence and authenticity in your next conference call, meeting, pitch, or presentation. The event took place at Arlington Economic Development in Arlington/Ballston, Virginia.

Hampton Dowling was recently interviewed on the topic of "Negotiating International Trade" by Mark Raffan on the Negotiations Ninja podcast. Michael Drake is now Director Talent Acquisition at SAIC. Previously, he was the Corporate Recruiting Lead with Engility, which was acquired by SAIC January 2019. Michael is now the recruiting lead for STG (Solutions Technology Group) , SAIC enterprise functions (HR, IT,BD/Growth/Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Contracts/Procurement, Security, etc), Executive and Internal Technology Organization. Shawn Beighle has joined the American Councils for International Education in Washington, D.C. where he serves as Chief Information Officer. Previously, Shawn was Vice President of Operations and Technology at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.

Sipa Sikaulu has joined Kivu Consulting where he is Director, Client Services. Kivu combines technical and legal expertise to deliver investigative, discovery and forensic solutions worldwide. Kivu’s digital forensic investigators are experienced in protecting organizations against compromise of data, theft of trade secrets and unauthorized access to data. Previous to Kivu, Sipa was Director of Client Advisory Services at TruShield Security Solutions. We are fortunate to include Sipa on our leadership teams for both the WNG Technology Roundtable and the WNG International Roundtable.

George Shevlin is now Vice President, Federal Government Affairs at AIG in their Washington, D.C. office. Previously, he was Political Affairs Officer at The Investment Company Institute (ICI), the leading global trade association of regulated funds,including mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US and similar funds offered to investors in jurisdictions worldwide.
