Andres Jordan [in], Founder and Sr. Consultant, Innovation Strategies & Cultures at Factor6, LLC Consulting, has been asked by George Mason University's School of Business to design and teach a course on Design Thinking and Innovation. Chris Foss [in], Co-Founder and President of Ironistic, is proud to officially announce the launch of their brand new website! The goal was to create a new modern look and feel to showcase Ironistic's expertise as a full-service digital agency and the impacts they have made on their clients and the digital world. James Wilkinson [in] is now Chief Executive Officer at the American College Health Association (ACHA). ACHA is the principal leadership organization for advancing the health of college students and campus communities through advocacy, education, and research. Previously, James was Executive Director of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound. Additionally, we are proud to claim James as a leadership committee member of our WNG Nonprofit Leadership Forum. Congratulations!
Ryan Colley [in], CEO of Colley Intelligence, is Leadership Greater Washington's featured past participant of their Rising Leaders program in their "Leaders on the Rise" section. In this most recent installment, they spoke with Ryan (RL ’20) about his LGW experience and his path to becoming the purpose-driven, visionary leader of Colley Intelligence. Rebecca Cassidy [in], Associate Director of Employer Relations at Georgetown University, has written a book titled, How to Work with Women, that you can now pre-order. The book explores the science of why working with women can be difficult and reveals the magic that happens when we learn to work together. Because in the end, women do make the world go ‘round. (Rebecca is a WNG speaker alumna, too.)
Liz Wainger [in], President of the Wainger Group LLC, has officially launched their “Prism of Value” podcast, which invites top executives to reveal how they build and demonstrate value for their most important stakeholders. This week, Liz's hosted Washington Business Journal Publisher Alex Orfinger, who shared his insights on ways to recover, sustain, and advance momentum during the darkest moments of the pandemic. Every two weeks she will have a new episode. Aneta Zawila-Jordan [in], Fractional CMO at yorCMO, has joined the Board of Directors of Women in Technology (WIT) - Washington, D.C. Metro Area and has been appointed as the new Communications chair. The WIT Board of Directors comprises seasoned industry leaders with broad experience in key areas of focus for Women In Technology and who represent the industry's interests. Congratulations!
David Leach [in] is now Chief Financial Officer at Payright, a company that is changing the way customers pay for their products and services. David is a senior finance executive with an extensive background in Transformation, Business Partnering and FP&A roles across multiple geographies, economic conditions and leadership environments. Previously, he served as an officer at Fannie Mae, Bank of the West, and National Australia Bank.
Jim Stockmal [in], Owner & Managing Partner of SK Partners, has been inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Association for Strategic Planning (ASP). Jim has led and participated in multiple initiatives throughout the organization over the past decade. He served as a board officer, including President for three years, and led a review of ASP's business model and marketing efforts, and supported the evolution of their Certification Commission.
Stacy Maguire [in], Founder of Eyedea Advertising & Design Studio, has been awarded the Molly Gimmel Entrepreneur of the Year Award from National Association of Women Business Owners NAWBO Greater DC in the annual Women of Excellence Awards. The Molly Gimmel Entrepreneur of the Year Award is given to one woman business-owner who has been in business for at least five years and shows dedication to the community as well as their business. Since starting Eyedea, Stacy has supported over 200 clients, created more than 2,000 successful projects, and has received 13 industry awards. Not only has Stacy led her business towards creative growth, she uses her talents to give back, like working on the Canvas of Hope campaign branding for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, supporting the mission of Loudoun Cares and providing ongoing creative support for many nonprofit associations. Congratulations!

Melanie Padgett Powers [in], founder and owner of MelEdits and Podcast Host of the Deliberate Freelancer, has been recognized and honored with two Gold EXCEL Awards from the AMP Network’s Associations Council (formerly known as Association Media & Publishing, or AM&P). Melanie's Gold Awards are for Magazine Feature Article (10,000 or fewer words) for her article “Gene Screen” (written for the American Physiological Society), and Magazine General Excellence (10,000 or fewer words) for The Physiologist Magazine, of which she is the managing editor. This is wonderful news and comes as Melanie celebrated the 100th episode of her Deliberate Freelancer podcast. What a great week! Congratulations!
Loretta Prencipe [in], a nationally recognized expert in energy, environment and sustainability communications, has signed two new clients - one in next gen aeronautics and another providing aerial data for renewable energy asset owners. Through her firm Prencipe Communications, she offers integrated communications programs, media coaching and government affairs. Additionally, Loretta serves as a Board member at the Women's Council on Energy and Environment.

Chris O’Rourke [in], a new WNG member and a native Washingtonian recently returned to the area after 20 plus years in New York City, has been appointed the incoming director of the soon to launch DC chapter of the Chief Operating Officer Business Forum. Chris currently runs the NYC Chapter of the Forum and is the co-founder and fractional COO for Affinity, a brand design consultancy in London as well as the fractional COO for RallyBright, a Bethesda, Maryland based software company.
Richard Marker [in], Founder & Co-Principal of the Institute for Wise Philanthropy, has a new blog post "The Lure of the Voyeur: Philanthropy for the Rest of Us," which is also published on LinkedIn.
