Antonio (Tony) Harvin, is now Assistant Director, Marketing and Communications at the American University School of Public Affairs in Washington, D.C. Previously, he was Vice President of Marketing Strategy at Young Marketing Consulting in Arlington, Virginia. This move builds on Tony's substantial marketing experience, which includes 10 years with The George Washington University, College of Professional Studies. Congratulations!
Michael Seo, Managing Director and Founder of ReaMedica and based in Nairobi, Kenya, has co-authored an article titled "Don't Let COVID-19 Camouflage Endemic Corruption," which was published on the Accountability Lab website. Michael is a member of our WNG International Council and previously served on the WNG Board of Advisors.
Sirin Koprucu, Principal of StrategicStraits Inc, was honored to be a panelist in the “Global Partnerships in the Covid-19 Era” webinar with the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and was mentioned in an article in ASAE Now. A partnership mindset and related skills are critical in reconceiving value, building efficiencies in supply chains and developing supportive clusters during disruptions. Maddie Grant, Culture Consultant and Founding Partner at Human Workplaces, has shared "[Download] Culture Plays for Returning to the Workplace" with recommendations to consider as the discussion shifts towards opening things up again. As she writes: "While we don't know exactly what the "new normal" is going to look like, we do know it's going to require some significant shifts in how we do things, possibly including more employees going remote permanently, significant reconfiguration of office space (more on that in a future paper), and changing some of our core management concepts, like what it means to supervise and manage employees." D'Oniece Dillard is now Parish Administrator at The Falls Church Episcopal in Virginia, which was founded in 1732. Previously, she was Church Administrator at The First Baptist Church of the City of Washington, DC. Additionally, D'O is active on our WNG Women's Leadership Forum steering committee.
Alex Matini, Director of RevenuesMD, reports that his company announced it will provide their telemedicine platform to all physicians and patients for free and with no obligation through September 12, 2020. This is the company's way of helping physicians make up some of their lost revenues while helping patients who need care. RevenuesMD can set up a physician’s practice in less than 24 hours; any Internet connected device can then be used by phone physician and patient to connect. Like many, RevenuesMD is doing all they can to support those on the front line of this global pandemic.
Fred Diamond, cofounder of the Institute for Excellence in Sales and host of the award-winning Sales Game Changers Podcast, tells WNG he is now producing 5 weekly webcasts for sales professionals around the globe. On Mondays, he hosts a group of experts who address sales topics submitted from sales professionals around the globe. Every Tuesday at noon, IES Women in Sales Program Director Gina Stracuzzi hosts “The Women in Sales Webcast.” Other shows Fred is producing are “Sales Game Changers Panel (Wednesday at 2pm), Optimal Sales Mindset (Thursday at 2pm) and IES Big Stage “Creativity in Sales” (Friday at 11am).
