Mark L. Kelly is an experienced and strategic communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in the higher education sector. He currently serves as Vice President for Marketing and Communications for the Association of Governing Boards for Universities and Colleges (AGB), where he has been part of an enterprise-wide business transformation initiative focused on digital delivery platforms for content and automated marketing strategies to strengthen lead generation, acquisition, and retention.
Prior to joining AGB, Kelly served in senior marketing and communications positions at several nationally ranked liberal arts universities, including Furman University, The University of the South (Sewanee), and Loyola University in Maryland. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Virginia, and a Master of Science in Communications from the Newhouse School of Syracuse University. He began his career as a newspaper reporter.
