Women Leaders Talking About Women’s Leadership
"Women Leaders Talking About Women’s Leadership"
It’s almost 2020, and although more women are likely to enter marketing as a career, men still dominate senior marketing jobs. Why is this? Is it because women are still finding their voice? Is men’s confidence winning over women’s competence? Or are women choosing flexibility over round-the-clock-availability required for obtaining many executive roles?
Having women at the top isn’t just the focus of workplace initiatives to keep women happy, but it makes good business sense. According to a Women on Boards study by MSCI ESG Research, having strong female leadership created a return on equity of 10.1 percent each year versus 7.4 percent for companies without women in top roles.
AMADC’s Women in Marketing Open House launches a public dialogue about women in marketing with the panel, “Women Leaders Talking About Women Leaders.” The panel will be followed by an active Q&A and ideas for moving the conversation forward.
