Branding for Mission-Driven Nonprofits
On Wednesday, January 10, 2018, the WNG Communications Roundtable, together with the WNG Nonprofit Leadership SIG, convened a workshop with Maggy Sterner, branding expert, business coach, writer and speaker.
Maggy discussed with us the components of a clear, effective brand message and mission statement; How to craft your mission statement so it connects powerfully with everyone (your staff, board, volunteers, and donors); Why "selling" your nonprofit's brand message matters, what "selling" really means, and how to do it from your heart.
Welcoming remarks were offered by Bill Stokes, WNG Chairman. Our formal program included plenty of time networking.
