About our Speaker:
Yeager-Marcelle-rBefore starting her own companies, Marcelle Yeager did her fair share of job searching and career exploration. She spent five years in strategic communications at APCO Worldwide, a Washington, D.C. public affairs firm and Booz Allen Hamilton. She also worked as a civilian at the Department of Defense and in public affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. When her husband joined the Department of State’s Foreign Service in 2011, she launched Career Valet, a provider of job search preparation services for mid- and senior-level professionals. In 2015, Marcelle co-founded ServingTalent, the first recruiting agency specifically for talented U.S. military and Foreign Service spouses.
Marcelle holds an MBA from the University of Maryland College Park and a BA from Georgetown University. She is a former weekly contributor to the U.S. News and World Report On Careers blog, a monthly contributor to ClearanceJobs.com, and has been featured in publications including MONEY Magazine, Monster, and FlexJobs. She is a certified professional resume writer (CPRW) and serves on the Washington Network Group's Career Development Roundtable Steering Committee. About our Photographer
Curtis Jordan is a senior producer and professional photographer possessing vast administrative experience and more than 15 years of hands-on visual communication experience in multiple platforms in shooting and editing photos, videos and training personnel in technical color management and software application in multiple IT Platforms. He founded CurtisC3photography, LLC. in 1991 and has been providing photography services for American Red Cross, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate For Children), Manna Food Service, WTMD Radio Station and Venus Theater. Curtis serves as Historian Photographer, Videographer and Media Production Technician for Rainbow Family Christian Center.
