Location Intelligence for Social Good

NVTC and Virginia Tech Data Science Speaker Series present:

"Location Intelligence for Social Good"

Location Intelligence can help to solve some of our society's biggest challenges. We know that understanding human movement patterns, and how they change over time is key to better stewardship and enables local governments to make policy decisions based on data, not opinion.

In this presentation Jeff White, CEO of Gravy Analytics and Virginia Tech alumnus, will share specific examples of how location intelligence is helping us recover from disaster in today's uncertain environment.

This new event series showcases the impact that Data Science is having and changing the way science and business are being conducted, how government policy is being made and how the application of Data Science is changing our daily lives as citizens and consumers. Each event in the series will have an audience consisting of 100+ business leaders from the Greater Washington region.
