Tension among leaders and colleagues, if left unaddressed, often results in hostility in the workplace and can lead to a lack of diversity and inclusion, and worse yet, a discriminatory hostile work environment. Consistent with WGR’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, we offer you insight into your leadership style, your style’s behavior under stress, and techniques for supporting diversity and inclusion on your workplace.

During this program you will learn whether your primary leadership style is Asserter, Achiever, or Affirmer and what it means for your everyday leadership style and, critically, your behavior under stress. You will also glean insight into other’s stressed behaviors, and how to help that person get out of his or her so-called “shadow” so that the person is fostering, rather than preventing, a more collaborative and inclusive environment. Learn each style’s underlying motive driver and stress-induced “shadow” behaviors, and, most importantly, how to manage them so that you are more resilient and effective, and operate better under stress.

Handouts: Participants will take the Actualized Leader Profile (APL), a self-assessment designed to help you understand what drives your leadership style (Affirmer, Achiever, Asserter) and will be provided with a customized, full color and confidential report identifies the strengths and pathways to improving your current leadership approach.
