Please join the Washington Network Group when we convene a discussion with Alex Brown, Client Solutions Director at ExperisPRO; Kimmi Cantrell, Managing Director at Careers In Nonprofits; Emily Rothberg, Principal of Rothberg Coaching, LLC; and Bill Stokes, WNG Chairman (moderator), who will explore with us the topic: "Career 2021 - Are You Ready?"
During this highly interactive session, Alex, Kimmi, Emily, and Bill will discuss with participants what they are seeing take place in the job market these days and how you can take charge of your career during this time of uncertainty. Whether you are employed or in transition, come join us as our panelists share their insight, best practices, and concrete steps you can take to proactively manage your career in 2021.

Alex Brown is the Client Solutions Director for ExperisPRO, the Permanent Placement division focusing on IT roles. This is a national division of a nearly $30 Billion a year organization which has been ranked as a best place to work for LGBTQ equality and the only company of its type to be honored with the title of World’s most ethical companies for 11 years straight. Alex specialized in working with organizations from enterprise clients to government contracting organizations, by creating solutions for their hiring needs. Before coming to Experis, Alex successfully helped companies set and achieve their goals in the government contracting, litigation services, and talent acquisition verticals. With over 15 years’ experience in business development and executive recruiting, supporting the Career Development team is a dream come true. Alex has served on the board of directors for multiple local professional organizations and volunteers with both the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless and the Manna Food Center. Kimmi Cantrell is an unrelenting optimist who is passionate about bringing courage and passion to the workplace through nonprofit staffing. In her 5 years serving as the Managing Director of Careers In Nonprofits, she spends her days connecting with nonprofit decision makers as well as job seekers, aiding both in finding solutions to their problems. Kimmi leads a team of nonprofit recruiters to find ideal matches between some of the world’s top nonprofit organizations and job seekers. You can find Kimmi on LinkedIn, as well.
Emily Rothberg is the founder and principal of Rothberg Coaching, LLC, through which she helps individuals navigate career transitions and re-imagine success at work. A former business executive, nonprofit champion, educator, and community leader, she has coached individuals from all walks of life to help them achieve greater career satisfaction, grow as leaders, and experience more fulfilling lives. Previously, Emily held leadership positions at Deloitte, AT&T, and Fannie Mae. From executive communications, to public relations, and corporate philanthropy, she has served as spokesperson, partnership builder, and change maker, empowering individuals, building organizations, and strengthening communities. She completed Coach Approach and leadership training at Deloitte. At George Mason University, she earned a Master’s degree in Sociology, with a dual specialty in Conflict Analysis & Resolution/Race & Ethnicity, giving her unique insight into the institutional factors affecting our interactions at work, in our communities, and society at large. Bill Stokes is Founder and Chairman of the Washington Network Group (WNG), an organization of senior-level executives in the private, public and independent sectors. Bill is "a people person" who works with owners, founders, and builders of growing companies and non-profit organizations. As an executive search consultant, he has recruited leaders, executives, and managers for U.S. and international clients. His focus areas include management and operations, sales, business development, marketing, communications, public relations, public affairs, advocacy, government relations, lobbying, advancement, development, and fundraising. He is a trained leadership development coach and serves as a mentor to numerous organizations including the BMW Foundation's RESPOND Accelerator, Accelerate Athens, and the Exonian Mentors program of Phillips Exeter Academy. Bill is a member of the College of William and Mary's Professional Networks Leadership initiative and serves on the Board of the George C.
