Previously, Michael was Senior Vice President, New Fuels and Sustainability at Avenir Energy located in Singapore.
Silvia Dumitrescu, Vice President, Communications at the International Food Information Council Foundation, will speak on the topic "Communicating Crisis: How to Turn the Worst News Into the Best Opportunities" at the upcoming Media Relations Next Practices Conference convened by PRNEWS on December 13 in Washington, D.C. Silvia is a member of the WNG Board of Advisors and immediate past chair of the WNG Women's Leadership Forum.
Sipa Sikaulu, Director of Client Services at Kivu Consulting, Inc., recently was selected to participate in the inaugural MentorHER Day Initiative as a mentor. In October, Sipa was matched with a mentee here in Washington, D.C. The initiative is supported by the 1,000 Dreams Fund, a nonprofit that provides microgrants to support the dreams of talented young women in need. The Fund was founded by Christie Garton, an award-winning social entrepreneur, who is the creator of UChic.com.

Merritt Green, founder of General Counsel, P.C., a law firm based in McLean, Virginia, has joined the Board of Directors for Rebuilding Together Arlington/Fairfax/Falls Church, a nonprofit organization that serves low-income homeowners and nonprofits.
