Michael Taylor is now Senior Director, Public Affairs at Kellen, a global management and communications company serving more than 125 trade associations, professional societies and charitable organizations representing over 10,000 companies and 100,000 professionals worldwide. Previously, Michael was Senior Vice President, New Fuels and Sustainability at Avenir Energy located in Singapore.

Silvia Dumitrescu, Vice President, Communications at the International Food Information Council Foundation, will speak on the topic "Communicating Crisis: How to Turn the Worst News Into the Best Opportunities" at the upcoming Media Relations Next Practices Conference convened by PRNEWS on December 13 in Washington, D.C. Silvia is a member of the WNG Board of Advisors and immediate past chair of the WNG Women's Leadership Forum.

Sipa Sikaulu, Director of Client Services at Kivu Consulting, Inc., recently was selected to participate in the inaugural MentorHER Day Initiative as a mentor. In October, Sipa was matched with a mentee here in Washington, D.C. The initiative is supported by the 1,000 Dreams Fund, a nonprofit that provides microgrants to support the dreams of talented young women in need. The Fund was founded by Christie Garton, an award-winning social entrepreneur, who is the creator of UChic.com.

Karen Naumann, Vice President at Susan Davis International (SDI), has been elected Vice President to the PRSA-NCC Board of Directors. Congratulations!

Tim Riordan is now Chief Operating Officer at BIPAC based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. Previously, he was Vice President of Membership and Partnerships at the Connected Commerce Council (3C), where he manage all member and partner-related activities.

Francis Rienzo has joined Ipsen as Head of State Government Affairs and Policy. Ipsen is a global specialty-driven biopharmaceutical group committed to discovering new solutions for targeted debilitating diseases and improving quality of life for patients.

Mitchel Bell has joined NICE Ltd as a Solution Sales Executive in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. The NICE ICM platform empowers companies to use Big Data to drive dynamic change for their sales team. Previously, Mitch was Sales Director at Optymyze.

Merritt Green, founder of General Counsel, P.C., a law firm based in McLean, Virginia, has joined the Board of Directors for Rebuilding Together Arlington/Fairfax/Falls Church, a nonprofit organization that serves low-income homeowners and nonprofits. Rebuilding Together's volunteers repair and upgrade homes at no charge to the owner. They focus on health, safety and accessibility for every home. Jeri Mae Rowley, Speaker and Principal of Thirsty Minds Keynotes & Consulting, is now the 2019-2020 President of the National Speakers Association: DC Metro Area Chapter (NSA-DC). The NSA-DC is the organization of choice for more than 100 professional speakers serving the Greater Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. The NSA-DC Chapter will be hosting the National Speakers Association's INFLUENCE Conference attended by over 3,000 professional speakers from 14 countries in August 2020.

Maddie Grant, culture designer at Human Workplaces, is newly certified in Predictive Index, a behavioral assessment that allows her to help organizations understand their culture at an individual team level, not just as a whole organization. She's also getting ready to publish a big white paper on her new Culture Management Maturity Model with accompanying assessment.

Geoffrey M. Goodale is now a Partner at Duane Morris LLP in their Washington, D.C. office. Geoff practices law in the area of international trade. As member of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group, his practice focuses on export controls, economic sanctions, import compliance, trade litigation, international intellectual property rights protection, foreign direct investment, cybersecurity and compliance counseling to government contractors. Previously, Geoff was a partner at FisherBroyles.

Tabrina Davis has been named Vice President, Marketing and Communications by Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, which is located in Memphis, Tennessee. Previously, she was a senior consultant and vice president of Strategic Communications with Wyn-Win Communications. Prior to that Davis served as vice president of Communications for Northrop Grumman. She has held a number of leadership roles for various organizations, including vice president, Corporate Communications for Presence Health, the largest Catholic health system based in Illinois and vice president, Communications for ComEd/Exelon, one of the nation’s largest utility companies.

Molly Tims is now Vice President, University Programs at the Human Rights Foundation (HRF). HRF brings together international activists, dissidents, and experts to share their testimonies of - and tactics to combat - the atrocities of authoritarianism. Previously, she was Chief of Staff at Union, a unique community-powered network and digital platform developed to create a global startup ecosystem transcending geography and industry.

Crystal O'Neill has joined the Merritt Group, a nationally recognized strategic communications agency that provides marketing, public relations and digital strategy and services to organizations ranging from venture-funded startups to global Fortune 500 companies. Crystal is based at their office is Tysons, Virginia.

Congratulations to Bill Tompkins for being appointed Interim President and CEO at the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) in Maryland. Previously, Bill served as MCEDC's Chief Operating Officer. The organization is the official public-private economic development organization representing Montgomery County, Maryland. It was created in 2016 to help businesses start, grow, and relocate in Montgomery County by helping them gain access to top talent, business and market intelligence and prime locations.
