Chris Leahy will be joining Intuit, the legendary technology, software and fintech company, where he starts in December as Vice President, National Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs. Valerie Pelton has been a prolific writer! Over the last 12 months, her work was published in leading U.S. and international industry and law journals: Journal of Air Law and Commerce, The International Lawyer, Journal of World Energy Law & Business, Texas Tech Administrative Law Journal and Journal of Transnational Law and Contemporary Problems. Additionally, Valerie served as 2017-2018 Co-Chair, Corporate Counsel Forum and 2018-2019 Co-Chair, Insurance Committee for the Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia (WBA) and developed the annual Going Global program for WBA in conjunction with George Washington University Law School and the Confucius Institute.
Daniel Haney is now the Federal Civilian Senior Account Executive at Trustwave Government Solutions, which helps the government fight cybercrime, protect data and reduce security risk. Previously, Dan was Enterprise Sales Director at DH Technologies. He will continue to be based in the Northern Virginia area. Additionally, Dan is a WNG Advisory Board member.

George Deeley, Vice President, Global Operations & Business Development for Swiss Mountain Cosmetics-NIANCE, has spent the past year based in Lima, Peru. George has responsibility for global brand and marketing strategies, as well as overall international expansion beyond the original DACH markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). He plans to return to the DC area at the end of the year.
Ken Schoppmann is now Executive Director at the Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF) located in Bethesda, Maryland. ABRF is an international scientific society comprised of over 900 members working within or in support of resource and research biotechnology laboratories. David London has joined TechNet: The Voice of the Innovation Economy, where he is Vice President for State Policy and Politics. TechNet is one of the world's largest trade associations with members such as Google, Facebook, Uber and Apple. David will be managing the U.S. state team and remains in the Washington, D.C. area. Previously he was Senior Director and Head of North America Government Affairs at ofo. Additionally, David is a member of the WNG Government Rountable's leadership steering committee.
