As Founder and Principal of Rothberg Coaching, Emily helps individuals navigate career transitions and re-imagine success at work. A former business executive, nonprofit leader and educator, she has coached hundreds of men and women, from all walks of life, to help them achieve greater fulfillment at work and beyond.
Previously, Emily held leadership positions in corporate philanthropy at Deloitte, AT&T, and Fannie Mae; as well as in the foundation world, and as a professor and award-winning teacher. A strategic communicator, team builder and change agent, she has served in countless community leadership roles and on the boards of dozens of charitable and business organizations.
Emily holds a Master’s degree in Sociology, with a specialty in Conflict Analysis & Resolution; and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is an alumnus of Leadership Greater Washington and completed her Coach Approach and leadership training at Deloitte.
A long-time resident of the Washington DC area, Emily resides in Mclean, Virginia, with her husband, Peter and golden retriever, Bailey.
