Franck is Senior Director for Enterprise Strategy and Digital Advisor at Microsoft, where he is based in Paris, France. Prior to joining Microsoft, He was Insight Program Director, Public Sector, at Oracle, where he led strategic engagements with executive-level customers. Franck leverages enterprise architecture, financial analysis and proprietary solutions (technology, applications, hardware, engineered systems and public Cloud offering) to develop IT strategies for key accounts.
Previous, Franck was the Chief Technology Officer of Orchid Suites, a leading provider of strategic web services and distributed web publishing solutions (web suites). As CTO, Franck worked collaboratively with the CEO and COO to develop and implement the overall corporate business and IT strategy.
In December 2006, Orchid Suites, Inc. acquired and merged with e-angel LLC, a web solutions firm founded by Franck Goron. e-angel provided business-enabling solutions using Open Source technology. Franck envisioned and designed innovative eBusiness architecture and strategies to provide small and medium-sized businesses low risk, low investment, high return solutions.
Before founding e-angel, Franck worked for Oracle Corporation Consulting - Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS) Group, where he effectively identified and solved business challenges leveraging advanced technology for multiple customers and business situations around the globe. Franck managed the implementation of Oracle solutions and technology for Oracle's largest customers using standard project management methodology for time, resource and budget appropriation; led in the creation and deployment of Global Consulting Solutions including eBusiness global architecture, eBusiness integration and eCommerce; and received multiple awards for leadership and the successful development and deployment of programs, tools, and processes for use in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Prior to Oracle, Franck served in the Computer Research and Development Department for the French Military conducting research for implementation of Internet client/server technology in military operations. Afterwards, Franck pioneered Media Zone, one of the first multimedia and Web development agencies in Europe.
Born and raised in France, Franck studied in Paris and Brisbane, Australia where he earned BS/MS degrees in mechanical engineering and industrial design from the prestigious University of Technology of Compiègne (UTC).
Franck is a past member of the WNG Board of Advisors and has been a WNG Member since its earliest days.
