Rebecca Callahan is a seasoned spokesperson and public affairs expert with 10+ years’ of federal experience and extensive knowledge of strategic communication, media relations, information assurance and crisis management specializing in Intelligence Community (IC) agencies and Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs). Rebecca currently serves the Intelligence Community (IC) via employment as a Senior Marketing Strategist with LEIDOS, an IT services firm supporting key lines of business civil, defense, health, and intelligence by embracing and solving some of the world's toughest challenges. Prior to joining LEIDOS, Rebecca served multiple IC elements as a Strategic Communications support. Preceding taking on these projects, Rebecca served for nearly a decade as a Public Affairs Specialist and Community Outreach Specialist with both the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. She has developed strong relationships with local, national and international news media and with local communities affected by federal government programs and initiatives. She has written internal and external content for governmental, non-governmental and international organizations and hosts informational events relating to Intelligence Community (IC) work for multiple IC agencies. During her off hours, Rebecca is a Government Relations Lead and a Public Affairs Supervisor for the American Red Cross in the National Capital Region. In these roles she is a Community Volunteer Leader acting as a “face of the Red Cross” for a wide range of Red Cross incident responses for federal, state and local authorities and community leaders.
