Job Title : Foundation Associate
Organization : Food & Water Watch
Job Location : Washington, D.C.
Salary Range :
Job Description :

Food & Water Watch is a leading national advocacy organization that runs cutting-edge organizing campaigns to ban fracking, promote renewable energy, ensure safe drinking water for all and challenge the corporate control and abuse of our food, water and democracy. At Food & Water Watch, we believe we must be bold and visionary and not settle for what others say is politically expedient. We must work with grassroots partners to mobilize people to pressure decision makers to represent the interests of their constituents, not large corporate interests. It’s how we won major organizational victories like a ban on fracking in New York and Maryland, defeated water privatization in dozens of communities across the country, and stopped the use of arsenic in chicken feed.

The Foundation Associate supports the organization’s fundraising efforts by working as part of a team to oversee Food & Water Watch’s portfolio of foundation funders and prospects. The associate plays a key role on the development team and will be responsible for expanding the program that brings in $1.5 million annually from private and community foundations across the country.
