Our six year old, award-winning, rapidly growing craft brewery has an opening for a full-time Tasting Room Manager to drive and share in the company's growth.

The Tasting Room Manager will be responsible for running all aspects of our Tasting Room, including managing and training staff to promoting our brewery and company culture, and effectively managing daily operations. We do all this in a hectic, fast-paced, fun environment!

Overall Responsibilities:
• Meet and exceed annual Tasting Room goals through increased beer sales and supporting merchandise
• Elevating Craft Beer: Interact and engage with customers, promote a positive Tasting Room atmosphere and provide customers the best beer experience ever
• Manage Tasting Room staff, including hiring, training and scheduling.
• Manage Private Events Coordinator Position
• Manage Visitor Programs: program, schedule and conduct Public and Private tours, put in place / maintains regularly scheduled Tasting Room events
• Conduct employee training related to safety, daily procedures, incremental sales, and ongoing exceptional customer service
• Manage established opening/closing procedures
• Order, track, and manage beer and retail inventory
• Manage PCBC website, Tasting Room Google Calendar & Social Media
• Oversee retail areas to assure adequate inventory is in place and meets company standards
• Manage guest relations, and resolve issues as needed

• Must be a self-starting problem solver with a great attitude, a keen ability to think on one’s feet, and demonstrate great attention to detail and follow through
• Prior management experience (3-5 years) in restaurant/ retail industry or its equivalent, including personnel management, budgeting, cash management, sales and customer service
• Experience developing and sustaining an enthusiastic, creative, goal-oriented atmosphere with a retail team, including developing and implementing training programs
• Merchandising experience, including design sense, ordering, inventory control, and product display * Experience with event organization
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and remain focused and organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, hectic environment
• Ability to interact promptly, professionally and courteously via email, telephone and in person * Demonstrated proficiency with a POS, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to work flexible hours for events and as needed. Nights and weekends a must. Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs and stand for at least 8 hrs.
• Team player with a can-do attitude who presents a warm, gracious and professional demeanor. And some kickass.
