We are seeking exceptionally talented business development and sales professionals to join our Market and Client Services team. The Business Development Executive is an individual contributor and is charged with new business development across our Financial Services or Health & Wellness Vertical

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive sustained growth at or above assigned targets.
• Meet or exceed financial goals (bookings, revenue and gross margin targets).
• Collaborate with leadership to help develop and execute the industry team’s business development strategy and target client approaches.
• Accountable and responsible for working collaboratively with vertical leaders to assure business development strategies are aligned to and in support of vertical market strategies.
• Create a balanced pipeline of new opportunities within their vertical.
• Identify leads and nurture them to determine they are valid opportunity with defined need, authority, budget and timing and then transitions them to client services.
• Has the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
• Build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships.
• Provide market insights to the business on market/vertical trends, with a view on developing new services and routes to market.
• Utilize knowledge of the market and competitors to collaboratively help refine 3Pillar’s value propositions and differentiators.
• Work collaboratively with marketing and verticals to develop and execute campaigns to drive engagement, market demand, prospect identification and revenue growth.
• Support 3Pillar’s contact-to-contract, adjusting to continuous iteration and improvement of said processes.
• Support and adhere to ever evolving brand standards in customer facing artifacts and contracts across the vertical team.
• Understand how various requirements impact project budget and new revenue opportunities.
• Demonstrate unexpected value to your client.
• Understand product development, complimentary product development capabilities and the interactions between disciplines.
• Participate in holistic discussions about the broader product development lifecycle.
• Watch for triggering events, including changes within the organization or outside world that provide opportunities or create risks for 3Pillar.
• Has a desire to learn about the client’s business, understand technology trends and how digital transformation can help the client grow its business.
• Develop strong relationships with client personnel working directly on the account.
• Actively participate in recruiting and retaining top talent.
• Demonstrate ability to lead and/or influence teams by articulating the project vision and strategy and providing clear goals and expectations within and outside project teams.
• Take risks for the good of the team and manages failures as lessons learned for future opportunities.Invest in their own personal training and professional development.
• Engage with the external community through meetups, conferences, etc.

COMPENSATION

• Compensation is not capped and is based on your performance. We offer base salary plus commissions and bonus tied to fiscal year bookings and revenue production and profitability. The plan is generous, long term and supports a level of income while you build your book of business.
